Rehabilitative Services
The Rehabilitative Services program at Coastal
Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. is a comprehensive program for individuals
who suffer from
the symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness, often in conjunction
with psychosocial issues. Our goal is to provide quality care in a safe
environment, which in which the consumer develop insight into and learn
to manage symptoms
of their mental illness. Consumers are also taught practical skills aimed
at promoting greater independence in the community for consumers. Therapy
groups
offered include interactional process, psychoeductional skills training,
cognitive behavioral, educational training, physical health education,
and practical
skills training. Consumers are also provided the opportunity to attend
community reintegration outings two times a week.
