Keep Kids Drug Free
CBH is a partner in the Keep Kids Drug Free Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit
organization dedicated to substance abuse prevention. The Keep Kids Drug
Free Foundation was founded by community-based drug prevention and treatment
agencies throughout the state of Florida, which offer more than 150 years
of collective experience, including:
· Coastal Behavioral Healthcare in Sarasota · Operation
PAR in St. Petersburg · Stewart-Marchman Center in Daytona · The
Village in Miami · Lakeview Center in Pensacola · The
Center For Drug-Free Living in Orlando · DISC Village in Tallahassee · Gateway
Community Services in Jacksonville
Funds from the sale of license tags are used to fund alcohol and drug prevention
programs aimed at youth and promote community awareness. Programs include:
· Substance abuse prevention
· Education and outreach programs
· Residential, outpatient, community, and
school based activities
· Family centered services
For each specialty license plate sold, $25 is donated to fund programs and
services that are designed to prevent youth and family substance abuse. License
plates can be purchased through your local tag office.

Coastal recently awarded
two grants as part of the Keep Kids Drug Free Foundation's "Prevention is Key" initiative.
Girls Inc. recieved a grant for its "Too Good for Drugs" program,
and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County received a grant
for its SMART Moves program. |
