Family Life Intervention Program (FLIP)

The Family Life Intervention Program (FLIP) is an outreach program in the North Sarasota area designed to improve the lives of high-risk students between the ages of seven and seventeen and their families.

FLIP combines individual therapy, intensive family counseling, tutoring, homework supervision, and culturally-oriented social activities, and the families of students participate in multi-family parenting classes.

The fundamental component of success in this program is frequent contact, supervision, and support. The program and group therapy offer stability, positive peer interaction, and fun.
