DeSoto County Positions:

POSITION TITLE:      DeSoto County Director                                        

LOCATION:                 1901 Baker Street - Arcadia                           

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or Psychologist) that is responsible for providing all aspects of behavioral healthcare services.  This position requires the clinical skills and experience to provide outreach to the DeSoto County Community and to assess, plan, develop, coordinate and provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program clients with a mental health diagnosis.  Responsibilities include supervision of multidisciplinary clinical staff and the day-to-day supervision of the DeSoto County Facilities. 

 

POSITION TITLE:      Clinician III/Therapist                                                    

LOCATION:                1901 Baker Street - Arcadia                           

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Master's Degree from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology or a related field and 2-year's post-master's clinical experience.  This is a highly responsible and skilled professional position demanding independent thought or action relating to assessments, treatment plans, individual, group and family therapy.  Performs community consultation and education services, serves as a liaison with other community, governmental and judicial agencies and provides a variety of client assistance services.

 

POSITION TITLE:      Case Manager                                                       

LOCATION:                 1901 Baker Street - Arcadia                           

QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in psychology, sociology, behavioral science or a related field, and 1-year experience in a mental health field.  Responsible for providing case management services to adults.  This is a professional position, responsible for ensuring that priority clients participating in the program receive services appropriate to their needs and continuity of care.  Provides assessment, planning linkage, monitoring and advocacy for the client.
